This part of the old urban downtown in what is today Kopitareva Street was built in the first half of the 18th century. It was a street full of tinkers and other crafts, together with craftsmen’s houses originating from the Turkish period. Unfortunately, only some of the houses are preserved today and protected as a part of the town’s architectural heritage.
